~ Coach / Pro Triathlete ~
Colin came 2nd in his first ever triathlon (the London triathlon) in 2011. Since that time he has represented Great Britain as an Age Grouper, finishing 3rd in the amateur World Championships in 2013. More recently, he moved up to middle distance racing and now races as a Professional at the 70.3 distance for 'ITZU' professional triathlon team: https://www.itzu-tri-team.com/en.
Colin is recognised as one of the fastest runners in 70.3 racing and in the 2018 season finished 2nd at Vichy 70.3 and 3rd at Luxembourg 70.3. Prior to triathlon Colin was a middle - long distance runner and his claim to fame is finishing 2nd to Mo Farah on a couple of occasions.
Since turning professional, Colin has been coaching age-group & elite triathletes and runners to maximise their potential and achieve their goals. Colin's approach to coaching draws on the invaluable coaching and mentorship he has received from Trevor Simmons, Mike Trees, and more recently his current coach 2 x Ironman World Champion, Luc Van Lierde.
